This is a mock up in black and white because I want to use the real sizes and how can figured to put the candy in the map. Actually I decided to use lollypops because that make more sense to me use this kind of candy.
I showed to the teacher and she like it.
Beside of this map I created a story related to the fairy tale and the event in 1973 and the creation of the Constitution in Chile. This story is a mix of both events that of course it has fiction. In other words, I created another fairy tale related with the project.
Here is the story in Spanish and English.
obligarlo a comer dulces.
Once upon a time it was a country located in south of the world and his name was Chile. In this beautiful country was living two brothers and their names were Hansel and Gretel. They would always enjoyed going to the city called Santiago and walk around because they loved the beautiful buildings that surround the city. Usually, they always took the same route, they loved to walk for the street called Alameda. Until one day in downtown of Santiago they found a that presidential palace La Moneda was being bombed by airplanes, tanks, soldiers who fired at close range and others trying to burn down the building. Hansel and Gretel could not believe what was happening in the city of Santiago. The beautiful city that they loved was living in chaos and uncertainty.
Everyone ran in all
directions screaming because they had fear and others crying because
they don't know what to do. It was a moment of desperation Hansel and
Gretel decided to escape and run to a safety place. The police caught
a Hansel and Gretel and became were prisoners. Later they met the
real leader who was in charge of the destruction of Chile, his name
was Augusto Pinochet and was the General of the Armed Forces. This
man tried to control every aspect of the country. Tyranny and
violence destroyed the hopes of Hansel and Gretel and the whole
population. His way of government was deranged, creating a
constitution in 1980. These laws were represented the candy that he
gave to Chileans to obey his laws. Converting Chile in a country of
candies that not represent the population.
When they were tortured at
the National Stadium Hansel disappeared for a few days, her sister
was hidden, so she did not know where he was. The military took him
for interrogation, torture and forced to eat candy. Pinochet was in
the same room where Hansel suffered these aberrations. Gretel
concerned about this, she decided to escape. She pretended that was
sick. When she managed to outwit the military began to visit all the
rooms where possibly be his brother. After a few minutes she found he
as a prisoner, luckily there was nobody who was with him. When Hansel
and Gretel came out of the National Stadium they decided do not to
return to the center of Santiago, because they knew that Pinochet was
looking for them. Eventually they heard that Pinochet died, but this
did not change the situation, yet people continued to eat candy and
being obedient to the laws of the Constitution form 1980 .
Chile needs to eat other
types of candy that truly represent the people of Chile. Chile needs
a new Constitution that can really make to the Chileans happy.
Friday!!!!!
